Experienced in surveying at different regions, the «Irkutsk Electroprospecting Company» (IERP) has got all capacities to execute geophysical gauging by TEM, MTS, IP, VES and other methods. The electrical noise immunity of the gauges employed allows the electric survey to be accomplished in urban, industrial and cultural regions with high levels of electromagnetic interference.
The technical support includes a sufficient number of bran-new heavy vehicles like URAL-4320 truck manufactured in 2007-2008 and caterpillar land-rovers, reequipped under required terms into technologically adequate vehicles. At the enterprise the owned workshop manufactures spare parts and repairs the principal and supplementary field equipment, e.g. source and receiver loops, digital transmission lines, coils, etc. The geophysical teams of electric survey enterprise are equipped with the state-of-the-art navigation facilities, communication and life support; they are capable to survey in tight and remote areas under hard climatic conditions.
The department of data treatment and interpretation provide tentative signal processing, electric data interpretation, geological analysis and results description.
In addition to the all-year-round field work, the personnel is involved in developing electric survey techniques, up-to-date software, algorithms for data processing, mathematic modeling, system of storing, archiving and visualizing the materials obtained.
The «Irkutsk Electroprospecting Company» employees perform scientific investigations jointly with the researchers of the Geophysics Chair at the Irkutsk State Technical University and Institute of Oil and Gas Geology and Geophysics, SB RAS at Novosibirsk.
The Enterprise welcome students, young scientists and researchers to partake in training practical courses in picturesque sites of the Baikal region being extremely attracting and exciting in terms of geology.
