The conference was organized by the European Association of Geoscientists and Engineers (EAGE) with financial main sponsor support from ZAO Irkutsk Electroprospecting Company.
More than 60 practitioners and scientists representing 34 sector-specialized companies, institutes and production enterprises of Russia, Ukraine, Uzbekistan and Malaysia participated in the conference. On the conference, there were 45 presentations on 7 topics that generated interest in the conference participants undoubtedly and made them discuss continuously.
Scientific session of the conference were devoted to the role of electromagnetic methods in studies of the geological environment, oil and gas exploration, ore and electrical prospecting depth, hardware and software- mathematical development.
The event took place on a sightseeing trip by boat on Lake Baikal, a geological excursion to the West Baikal region, field demonstrations of electroprospecting equipment.
Summing up the conference was held at the recreation center, in one of the most beautiful places on the shores of Lake Baikal.
